Creative Writing, Puppetry and Performance Camp

Join us for a week of artistic creative writing, puppetry, theatrical construction, acting and performance!
With CSS Creative Director Erin Sullivan teamed up with celebrated public Visual Arts Teacher, Luke Wertz (Topsail High School Visual Arts), come join for a week of performance and craftsmanship that will excite every aspect of your budding performer, on stage or behind the scene. A week full of creative writing, improv, team building, performance and laughter! A great camp for beginner theater lovers, as well as those with more experience!

Musical Theater Performance Camp

Spend a week learning, celebrating, and performing some of your favorite Musical Theater shows and songs!
We start with learning about the history of Theater and Musical Theater while navigating the campers theater passion! Guided by CSS Creative Director Erin Sullivan, campers will take ownership of selecting a performance piece and how they want to design and create. Luke Wertz (Topsail High School Visual Arts) will be directing the campers vision of Props and Costumes as they create a solo performance vision where our young performer gets to see their vision come to life while taking it to the stage!

Creative Performance Workshop Bootcamp
July 28-August 1 9 AM- 2 PM (8:45 Am Drop Off)

Send your budding Artist(s) to a full day of creativity: behind the scenes, on the stage, and learning all the elements it takes to PUT ON A SHOW! With CSS Creative Director Erin Sullivan paving the way, lets support the passion for the students who whats to learn every aspect of what it take to make the magic happen! In the professional field we always say, “It takes a village”…lets show this amazing new generation of minds what that means! With celebrated Visual Arts Teacher, Luke Wertz (Topsail High School Visual Arts) laying a beginner scenic building foundation, young artists will learn the ins and out of behind the scenes; building sets and props, while then getting to navigate their onstage passion with direction, choreography and musical direction. This is also a program that can be accommodated for the students who would like to focus on learning the scenic design process, vs the on stage process. Something for everyone who loves the performance arts! Plus some surprise Guest Speakers!
This will be an exciting, amazing experience with a performance at the end of the week celebrating all the artistic accomplishments.
Snacks will be provide during this camp.
