WHat The Pros Are SAying

‘I’ve always been impressed with Erin Sullivan’s talent as both a triple -threat performer AND a businesswoman. Erin ‘s well rounded toolkit, honed by years of industry experience, is sure to enrich the life of any student lucky enough to find themselves under her tutelage. I still hold myself to the professional standards Erin set when we worked together in LEGALLY BLONDE.’

‘There are talents in our business and theater community, but in confidence there is Erin Sullivan, a true quintuple threat. Actress, Dancer, Singer, Director, Author and Producer. In the years I’ve known Erin and watched her growth as an artist, I am in awe of her ability and talent. Her interaction with people is skill in itself and the generosity of time, commitment and understanding is a true gift.’

‘As a teenager growing up in Wilmington, one of the moments that shaped me as a performer was getting to work with professionals like Erin Sullivan who would come into town in the summer to do shows at Thalian Hall. I remember the summer we did LEGALLY BLONDE together. Erin showed me what a consummate professional was. She demonstrated professionalism in the rehearsal room and the preparation when it came to learning show materials, and as a younger performer who was considering going into the performing arts for a career, this had a huge impact on me. But more important than that, Erin showed how to operate in a theatrical space and setting with humility, grace, and kindness. She demonstrated that the culture of a show and a workplace trickles down from the top and it’s important that anyone who is a lead roles truly understands how to act as a leader and culture shaper. Being in “show business” often can feel like a business, but at the core, performers rely on so much on each other and the community aspect. Erin understands how special the community is and what it means to give back and she had a huge impact on myself as well as many other young performers in the Wilmington Theater Community who have had the chance to work with her.’

WHat the Parents are saying

‘As a mother of two young performers in Wilmington, I feel incredibly fortunate to have crossed paths with Erin a year and a half ago during a fundraiser event. From the moment my youngest daughter, Greta Kate, sang alongside her, she was captivated by Erin’s talent and warmth. The connection they formed was immediate and it was been wonderful to witness the positive influence Erin has had on Greta Kate’s confidence and passion for performing. Erin is not only a gifted actor and singer but also a seasoned professional who brings a wealth of experience to her teaching. Her supportive nature and encouragement have been invaluable to my girls, and we are absolutely thrilled that she is leading classes. I am eager to see how my daughters flourish under Erin’s guidance and grow as performers.’

-Jennifer Haugland

Mother to young Wilmington performers Greta Kate and Eliza Rose

‘I am so grateful for Erin and her passion for theater which energizes and audience and encourages young actors hoping to succeed in the world of entertainment. Her experience and insight into the industry was invaluable to my son as he was navigating through the performing arts college audition process, Not only did she talk us through the pros and cons of various avenues of opportunity, she was able to put him in touch with current Broadway coaches, college instructors, and intensive training facilities with whom she has a working relationship. Once he narrowed down the schools he planned to apply to, she helped him with choosing appropriate monologues and sift through his book of audition song and was happy to write recommendation letters. Then, after he has an incredible experience at an “Erin recommended” summer session in NYC, she put my son in touch with an NYC agent friend who made time to sit with Jakob and discuss his post graduate plans. As a mentor, she knows the business and has an energy about her that is just palpable. I am so excited for her to launch Center Stage Studios and watch her work her magic with Wilmington’s talented actors!’
